京都旅行の際、槇村 (Makimura) カメラマンに撮影を担当していただきました。仕上がった写真は大変素晴らしいです。
mucu Photography Studio のスタッフの皆さんはとても熱心でプロフェッショナルです。事前の打ち合わせから撮影当日の着物メイク・ヘアセットまで完璧に仕上げていただきました。カメラマンの槇村さんは手間を惜しまず、一般の観光客がなかなか入れない街並みやスポットに連れて行ってくださいました。出来上がった写真は一枚一枚見応えがあり、どれも素敵です。

We had an amazing kimono photoshoot experience with Taro during our Japan trip. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and the session became one of the highlights of our holiday.
Taro was warm, professional and incredibly patient with our toddler daughter throughout the shoot. Unfortunately our GPS accidentally led us to a different kimono branch for the same company about 15 minutes away but Taro kindly walked over to meet us anyway so we could still make the session work.Really appreciated him going above and beyond.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for beautiful family memories in Japan.

What a dedicated team, makeup, dressing, pictures... everyone was so involved and the result is... awesome!

If you are even thinking about a kimono photo shoot, you should go with this studio! We came back after a long day of sightseeing and weren’t going to make the closing time of many studios. Mr. Taro Makimura and his assistant were kind enough to take us in. They dressed us very efficiently but spared no detail and clearly knew exactly what they were doing.
For the photo shoot, Mr. Makimura captured us in a lot of the iconic local sights (many do not allow photos except for those who hold a permit, which he does). He gave very helpful instructions while keeping everything very natural. Even my husband, who normally hates taking photos, had fun doing this shoot. This trip was just the two of us, but next time when we bring our kids to Japan, we would love to book a shoot with Mr. Makimura again!

It was a wonderful experience. Thank you to photo studio mucu for their attentive service. Even on a hot summer day, I was able to enjoy a yukata photoshoot indoors. They took care of everything from the outfit to the makeup and hair. It was a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful time having our photos taken by Mr. 'Grandpa.' He was courteous, fun to be with, and highly professional. His fluency in English made the entire photoshoot smooth and comfortable. The team at his studio was also incredibly helpful, even assisting us with adjusting our kimonos. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! Thank you again, Mr. 'Grandpa.'
